Description

The 800W is the most popular unit in the Joker² range and was the first 800W HMI on the market. Its light output is comparable to more than a 4000W Quartz projector and produces one stop more than our Joker² 400.

This Joker² kit includes a Joker head and ballast, along with our custom designed 800W Bug-A-Beam adapter kit. Along with the BAB adaptor, the kit includes a modified Source 4 rear end, as well as a G22 lamp pin extension to ensure your 800W lamp sits in the optimum light center for maximum output.

Without optics, bare bulb power is optimal for use in light boxes and lanterns due to its ability to create a perfectly even distribution across fixtures.

The 800W comes with a dimmable ballast, capable of operating at frequencies of 300 or 1000 Hz for high speed filming. Drawing less than 7.5 amps on a 120V line, the 800W ballast can run on any available household power supply. Using the Lumenradio protocol, the new ballast now has an antenna and a DMX panel allowing it to be controlled via a tablet or smartphone.e.
